Review: J Crew Jayne T-Strap Ballet Flats

What a cute little twist on the traditional ballet flat....J Crew added an ankle strap and some bling to spice up an otherwise basic flat.
J Crew describes the Jayne T-strap ballet flat as:
We're happily back on the chain gang in these cool-girl ballet flats with dance-inspired glinting chain T-straps. Expertly crafted in Italian leather, they feel as luxe as they look (we removed the shank for supreme comfort).

They retail for $198 and come in black, red and beige.

They are super comfortable and fit tts.

Have you tried the Jayne Ballet Flats?  If so, what were your thoughts?

  4. I haven't tried those yet - but did try a flat with a cap toe and a chain between the colorblock - they were SO cute! Love these on you you though!

  7. They are very cute. Does the chain get annoying if you wear them all day?

    1. I haven't worn them for a long period of time yet or to do a substantial amount of walking...but the chain is smooth and lightweight, so it doesn't seem like it would be a problem.

  8. I love those, but I had the same concerns as KnitYarns. Then again sometimes beauty is pain, right?

    1. Amen to that...so often beauty is pain.
However, I had a beautiful pair of J Crew jeweled sandals...the metal across the top of my foot actually dug in and broke the skin...even I couldn't justify the pain of those!

  10. I love the color. I think those would make my feet look like boats, but I may try them if I'm able to in-person.
